How do I create a working arrangement policy?
WorkEQ allows HR and admins to create working arrangements for every employee with an account. Use the following steps to create and edit working arrangements for individuals and teams.
Create a Working Arrangement
- From the Command Center, scroll down to the "Working Arrangements" tab, and access the Working Arrangements screen.

- Click "Add New Arrangement". The Add Working Arrangement screen appears.

- Create a name for your working arrangement, and enter it in the "Working Arrangement Name" field.
- Select the days and desired work location per your internal policy.
- For example, if you are creating an arrangement where employees must be on-site Tuesday through Thursday and have the option to come into the office or work remotely on Monday and Friday, your arrangement would look like the following screen.

- Scroll down to answer the remaining questions.
- Answer whether the employees have assigned desks.
- If employees have the option of coming into the office day-to-day, but your arrangement requires employees to be in the office at least three days per week, you can set this requirement as well.

- Press "Save" and return to the Working Arrangements screen.
- Access the "Assignments" tab. From here, you can assign individuals or teams to your newly created working arrangement.

- Select the employees you want to assign to your working arrangement.
Note: You can do this by individual or you can use the filter function to select employees by team, location, department, etc.

- Press "Assign", and select the correct working arrangement for these employees from the Select Working Arrangement screen. Then press "Apply".

- Your employees are now assigned to the new working arrangement. To remove that working arrangement, repeat steps 7 and 8, but press "Unassign".

Edit a Working Arrangement
- From the Command Center, scroll down to the "Working Arrangements" tab, and access the Working Arrangements screen.

- Click the working arrangement you want to edit.
- Update the working arrangement per your new guidelines.
- For example, if you previously had employees coming to the office mandatory Tuesday through Thursday and employees were unable to meet that request, you may modify your arrangement.
- Modify the arrangement to instruct employees that they must come to the office three days per week, but they can select which days best fit their preferences.

- Make the updates, and press "Save". The working arrangement will automatically be applied to all employees affected by this policy.
